2022 marked the 10th anniversary of the Pro Tool Innovation Awards. We once again saw record numbers of submissions. Innovative product submissions arrived from tool brands all over the United States. While the past couple of years has brought some uncertainties, the construction, automotive, landscaping, and trade industries stayed strong.
We definitely saw plenty of innovation across tools, accessories, and fasteners. Manufacturers decided to grow their businesses through continued investment in new battery and motor technologies and by expanding their product lines. New innovations brought increased power, more gas-replacing competition, and better run-time for battery-powered equipment and tools.
The 2022 Pro Tool Innovation Awards let us know that high material costs and rising gas prices didn’t prevent manufacturers from expanding their horizons and improving the products we use every day. We saw advancements in blade technology, drill bits, and materials used in fasteners, coatings, paint, and adhesives.
The 2022 PTIA Awards brought hundreds of new products to the industry. We witnessed improvements in power tools, hand tools, accessories, and pneumatic tools with advanced features. Trade-related innovations continue to impress—with electricians, plumbers, and air-mechanical professionals getting the most benefits. Our professional judging team really had their work cut out for them this year.
The innovative tools and technologies we witnessed this year should really aid tradesmen and construction businesses and help you do more and/or do it better.
