When we readied the 2019 Pro Tool Innovation Awards program, our 7th annual awards, we had no idea the amount of new innovative tools that would be entered. From new battery platforms and technologies to never-before-seen cordless tool innovations, this year’s awards will prove to be the biggest ever. And we’re not just talking the number of entries. Some of these tools break ground we only dreamed possible a few short years ago.

Some companies are doing more and more with 18V tools. Others are discovering ways to advance technology through hybrid designs and higher voltage platforms. There are even tools that operate as both corded or cordless!

The 2019 Pro Tool Innovation Awards reveal some very impressive new power tools, hand tools, corded tools, and even pneumatic tools. Accessories also play a part as do specialized products that cater to particular trades and applications. Our judging team had its work cut out for them this year. General contractors, plumbers, electricians, masons, and other Pros should pay close attention. This year we plan to show off tools that could save you tons of time, money, and energy.
